What should I do to prepare for my appliance installation?
To ensure a smooth installation process, please:
- Provide clear access to the installation area by removing any obstructions, including furniture or other appliances.
- Make sure there is no ongoing construction or remodeling in the installation area.
- Ensure working power and water are available in the residence.
- Provide any access instructions such as gate codes, unit numbers, or special parking instructions.
Note: You do not need to disconnect or remove your old appliance; our installation team will handle this.
When will I receive my appointment details?
You currently have an appointment date with an arrival window between 8 AM and 5 PM. The day before your scheduled installation, we will contact you with a more specific arrival window, either in the morning or afternoon, via email or text.
What is included in a standard installation?
Standard installation includes:
- Delivery of the new appliance to your residence.
- Inspection of the installation site to ensure everything is up to code.
- Hooking up the new appliance to existing, code-approved utilities.
- Installation of necessary accessories, such as a dishwasher kit.
What if My Installation is Not Standard?
If your installation requires modifications or additional work to meet local codes or accommodate the new appliance, our technician will review the requirements and any associated costs with you before starting the work. Below is a list of common custom fees and their associated costs:

Air Gap Installation (CA Health & Safety Code)
Required for dishwasher installations in California if not already present.
Cost: $100
Shut-off Valve Replacement
Necessary if the existing valve is not functioning correctly or is corroded.

GFCI Outlet Installation (National Electrical Code)
Required if the appliance is being installed within 6 feet of a water source and no GFCI outlet is present.

Cabinet Modifications
If your cabinetry requires adjustment to fit the new appliance (e.g., cutting or drilling), additional charges will apply.
