For scheduled installations
Your installation is scheduled. Here is how it goes.
If you bought an appliance through a retailer and the installation was assigned to Direct Connect Connections, this page is for you.
The visit
A confirmed appointment window
You will have a scheduled window, and the crew calls ahead before arriving. If the window stops working for you, call us and we will move it.
A vetted technician
The person at your door passed a background check, carries current license and insurance, and works under our service agreement. Not a stranger from a lead site.
Protection for your home
The crew brings floor coverings, moves carefully around your space, and cleans up packaging before leaving.
Haul-away, when the job calls for it
If your work order includes removal of the old unit, the crew takes it with them. Empty it before we arrive; a freezer needs time to defrost.
Extra work, priced before it happens
Some installs surface additional needs: a new shutoff valve, an outlet, an air gap. Your technician explains the options and the cost before doing anything beyond the work order.
Before we arrive
- Clear a path from the door to the work area, and move anything fragile off the route.
- Know where your water shutoff and breaker panel are. The technician will ask.
- Have an adult present for the full appointment window.
- If we are hauling away an old appliance, empty it before we arrive.
- Secure pets in another room. Doors will be open while equipment moves in and out.
- If a doorway or stairwell looks tight, call ahead with the measurement and we will plan for it.
